Camps

Rocking T Ranch offers morning half day horsemanship camps that prepare the camper to enter into the sport of horses. Camps are offered during the Summer months and certain school vacation times. The camps are open to children ages 6 to 12 years old. Each day the Camp Instructors use gentle, safe Ranch horses to teach the campers basic riding skills along with how to halter, lead and groom a horse. Daily lectures will cover basic needs, equine anatomy, parts of the tack used for riding, grooming tools, colors and breeds of horses, feed and nutrition, farrier care and basic health needs. The Ranch provides a snack and a drink each day during a break and has helmets and boots for the camper to use during their camp session, if needed.

Campers can continue their horsemanship experience by repeating camp sessions or by enrolling in the year round Riding School.

Use the Camp Reservation Sheet to secure a spot for your special camper by returning the sheet with deposit amount. Camp fees or deposits can be made using Pay Pal. A 3% service charge will be applied for this convenience.
